(1) In a case where the power is not turned on (the POWER LED does not light)

No power (The POWER LED does not light.)

Insert the FFC correctly.

No

Is the FFC correctly inserted? Yes

Is the POWER LED lit?

Yes

Is the fuse blown?

No

Is the protection circuit in IC11 and/or IC14 broken? Yes Replace IC11 and/or IC14.

No

Check that the circuits are not short-circuited. As the circuit for +9 V is most likely to have been shortcircuited, check the circuits around IC15.

Yes Replace the F1 fuse. Yes

Is the POWER LED lit?

No

Is the POWER LED lit?

Yes Inspection completed.

(2) In a case where no sound is output

Check the electric potentials at each point of the module.

Is TUNED lit?

Check the circuits around Q3455 and Q3454.
