OOPS? THERES ALWAYS UNDO
If you make a mistake in any recording pass, or just did something that was less than your usual level of brilliance, you can always get rid of it by using the Undo Record command on the Edit menu. (Or press /Ctrl-Z on the computer keyboard.)
This command dumps everything you did in your last pass with a pass defined as the last time you went in and out of record, no matter how long or short the time. Remember, it will dump ALL moves in that pass, so if it was a long pass and 8 out of 9 moves were brilliant, you might be better off fixing number 9 with a punch-in, or by using the Event Editor as discussed later. NOTE: There is only one level of Undo. If youre feeling uneasy, use Save As and open a different session later to compare.
NOT RECORDING (UNLESS YOU WANT TO) IN REHEARSAL MODE
Lets say you want to make some level changes, but youre not exactly sure where the right Start and End points are. Rather than recording and rerecording a series of punch-ins until you get it right, you can use Rehearsal mode.
