� The installation of the cooktop must be carried out without grids to avoid any deformation of the appliance. Position the brackets into the relevant holes and tighten by means of the screws supplied. Make an opening in the worktop, respecting the dimensions indicated in the separate Product Description Sheet. � Apply the gasket supplied along the outer perimeter of the worktop, as shown in the figure. Also make sure that the ends of the gasket get in touch with each other without overlapping. � Install the cooktop into the worktop. Important The power supply cable and plug must be suitable for the power absorption of the cooktop and that cable must be long enough to permit the upward extraction of the cooktop.

Electrical connection
Installation must be carried out in compliance with the regulations of the local electricity supply company. Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in your home. Regulations require that the appliance is earthed: use conductors (including the earth conductor) of the appropriate size only. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for injury to persons or animals and for damage to property resulting from failure to observe the above regulations. 14 The appliance must be connected to the electricity supply by means of an all-pole disconnect switch with minimum contact gap of 3 mm. If necessary, the electrical power cable must be replaced exclusively with a power cable having identical characteristics to the original supplied by the manufacturer. This operation must be performed by the After Sales Service or a qualified electrician. Warning: The power supply cable must be long enough to allow the cooktop to be removed from the worktop and must be positioned so as to avoid damage or overheating caused by contact with the base.
