Playing back messages
You can play back messages on both the base unit and the cordless handset. When the phone is not in use and not in announcement only mode, the message counter shows the following.

(ANSWER ON/OFF)

When you come home
(VOL +) (VOL -)

(ERASE) Message counter SKIP >/QUICK (MESSAGE PLAY/STOP)

If (ANSWER ON/OFF) and the number of new messages on the message counter flash in red, press (MESSAGE PLAY/STOP) on the base unit or (HOLD/PLAY) on the cordless handset. The machine plays back from the newest message received.
