Procedure: 1. Install the SD card with calibration code into camera. 2. Attach camera to AC adapter. The camera starts to sound di di and then enter the Bright Level to adjust the menu. 3. Use the test pins of multimeter to touch the camera as shown. The black pin touches to the metal frame (GND), and the red pin touches to the LCD negative soldering pad (white wire). 4. Use touch pen on touch panel to adjust the reading on multimeter is 370 +/- 5mV, then press the shutter button to save it. 5. Repeat the above step 3 to adjust the reading to 220 +/- 5mV for Normal Level. 6. Repeat the above step 3 to adjust the reading to 100 +/- 5mV for Dim Level. 7. Press shutter button to get out of the calibration status.

3-3 LCD Calibration Test Tools: AC Adapter SD Card with Calibration Code [lcdcal.exe] --- Self-extracting execution Oscilloscope The all test points for vector pins are on the logic board U100. The setting of scope: Setting 1: CH1---VG(the white wire as shown), 0.5V, 25.0uS; Trigger Signal: CH4---VCOM; Synchronization: scanning Setting 2: CH1---VG(the white wire as shown), 0.5V, 25.0uS; CH2---VR(the black wire as shown), 0.5V, 25.0uS; Trigger Signal: CH4---VCOM; Synchronization: scanning Make sure the waveform of CH1 and CH2 is overlap together, then switch off the CH1 and CH2. Choose MATH, - to get the waveform of CH1-CH2. Setting 3: CH1---VG(the white wire as shown), 0.5V, 25.0uS; CH2---VB(the blue wire as shown), 0.5V, 25.0uS; Trigger Signal: CH4---VCOM; Synchronization: scanning Make sure the waveform of CH1 and CH2 is overlap together, then switch off the CH1 and CH2. Choose MATH, - to get the waveform of CH1-CH2. Setting 4: CH4---VCOM(the brown wire as shown), 1.0V, 25.0uS; Trigger Signal: CH4---VCOM; Synchronization: scanning GND: the red wire as shown
