Drying tips
TUMBLE
PRESS Setting
The dryer does not heat when the Temperature Selector is set on FLUFF AIR. This setting can be used to fluff bedding, plastic tablecloths, foam rubber pillows, stuffed toys, sneakers, etc.
The TUMBLE PRESS setting removes wrinkles from dry clothing such as items that may have been packed in a suitcase, closet, or items not removed from the dryer.
1. Set Control Knob to TUMBLE PRESS. 2. Set Temperature Selector to PERMT PRESVMED. 3. Push START Button. The load will tumble in heated air for 10 minutes. The heat shuts off and the dryer continues to tumble the load for 5 more minutes. For best results, TUMBLE PRESSonly a few items at a time. Put them on hangers or fold them as soon as the dryer stops,
1. Turn the Control Knob to the number of minutes you want in FLUFFAIR. 2. Push the START Button.
FINISH
GUARD Setting
Gentle Heat
The dryer automatically reduces the heat settings in HEAVY HIGH and PERMT PRESS MED cycles. During the last 7 minutes of each of these cycles, the temperature gradually reduces to a lower setting. This helps prevent overdrying.
When you are unable to unload the dryer as soon as it stops, wrinkles can form. If you dont open the door within 5 minutes after the dryer stops, FINISH GUARD takes over automatically to protect the load. You dont have to set the Control Knob for FINISH GUARD. FINISH GUARD tumbles the load, without heat, every 5 minutes for up to 40 minutes. This tumbling rearranges and fluffs the load to help avoid the wrinkles that set in when the load remains in the warm water.
