Transferring a Call
This feature enables you to transfer a call between the handset and base unit. A call can be transferred with announcement (Announced transfer) or without announcement (Blind transfer). When using more than one handset, see pages 58�60.
With the handset

�The call is put on hold.
During a call, press and (INTERCOM).

During a call, press (INTERCOM). Enter (0). OR Press ( ) or ( ) to select �BASE�, and press ( OK ) .
��CALL ON HOLD� is displayed on the handset. �If the base unit user does not answer, press or (SP-PHONE). �When the base unit user presses (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) to answer the call, the transfer is completed.
Enter (0). OR Press ( ) or ( ) to select �BASE�, and press ( OK ) .
�The handset and the base unit ring, and then automatically switch to intercom modes.

When the base unit user answers the page, you can announce the transfer.
�If the base unit user does not answer, press (OFF/CLEAR) then (INTERCOM), or (SP-PHONE).
�If the base unit user does not answer, the ring back tone sounds and �CALL ON HOLD RING BACK !� is displayed. If you do not answer the recall within 30 seconds, the call will be disconnected.

To end the intercom, press
�When the base unit user presses (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) to answer the call, the transfer is completed. (OFF/CLEAR).
�If the base unit user does not answer the transferred call within 5 minutes, the call will be disconnected.
