Adjusting the sound
You can adjust the sound characteristics to your preference.

Adjust the treble.
Adjust the front and rear speaker balance.
*1 Displayed only when �L/O MODE� is set to �WOOFER� (see page 21).

LOUD*2 (loudness)
Boost low and high frequencies to produce a wellbalanced sound at low volume level. Adjust the subwoofer output level.
Indication pattern changes as you adjust the level.
SUB. W*4 (subwoofer)
VOL*5 (volume)
Adjust the volume.
*2 When you adjust the bass, treble, or loudness, the adjustment you have made is stored for the currently selected sound mode (C-EQ) including �USER.� *3 If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader level to �00.� *4 This takes effect only when a subwoofer is connected. *5 Normally the control dial works as the volume control.
