BIOS setup will display all possible modes that supported by the HDD including NORMAL, LBA & LARGE. If HDD does not support LBA modes, no �LBA� option will be shown. If no of cylinders is less than or equal to 1024, no �LARGE� option will be show. Users can select a mode which is appropriate for them
4.10 Change User Password
When you select this function, a message appears at the center of the screen: ENTER PASSWORD: Type the password, up to eight characters, and press Enter. Typing a password clears any previously entered password from CMOS memory. Now the message changes: CONFIRM PASSWORD: Again, type the password and press Enter. To abort the process at any time, press Esc. In the Security Option item in the BIOS Features Setup screen, select System or Setup: System Enter a password each time the system boots and whenever you enter Setup. Setup Enter a password whenever you enter Setup. NOTE: To clear the password, simply press Enter when asked to enter a password. Then the password function is disabled.
4.11 Change Supervisor Password
The BIOS Setup will not be accessible unless you enter the correct password. Select �Set Supervisor Password� and press �Enter�, the screen will display start symbol �*� instead of the characters entered. After the new password is entered, retype the new password as prompted and press �Enter�. If the password confirmation is incorrect, an error message appears. If the new password is entered with out error, press �ESC�. The password is stored in NVRAM after AMIBIOS completes its cycle. Next time when booting the system, a passwords prompt will appears if the password function is enabled.
