FEATURES @ Low-FrequencyDrivers (Woofers) . T w 165 mm (6-1/2 in.) low-frequency drivers, each with 2 kg (4-1/2 Ib) magnetic structures arranged as a double magnet system for magnetic shielding against interference with hr picture Location of the drivers in-line with a central tweeter combines with the crossover for a stable polar pattern . Curved polymer diaphragm with butyl surround reduces diaphragm influences and enhances ideal piston motion . Iligh temperature copper wire on slotted 38.1 mm ( 1- 1/2 in.) diameter force-coil which extends from the magnetic gap with a flat spider suspension; all elements combine to reduce distortion and assist at more demanding program levels "Soft-pad" stop on magnetic structure top plate prevents damage in abnormal diaphragm excursion situations .
