� Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance. � Keep this appliance away from water! Drying
1 Put the plug in the wall socket. 2 Switch the appliance on by selecting the
desired setting (fig. 1). The dryer has a constant caring temperature.The airflow can be adjusted: III: Fast setting - strong airflow for fast drying. II: Medium setting - medium airflow for gentle drying and styling. I: Style setting - low airflow especially for styling. O: Off.

4 The Quick-dry Shot enables you to dry
shower-wet hair much more quickly and safely (fig. 2). It is recommended to use the Quick-dry Shot with shower-wet hair. Simply press the button and hold it for a short time.
Styling attachments Concentrator
The concentrator enables you to direct the airflow at the brush or comb with which you are styling your hair.
1 Connect the concentrator by simply snapping it
onto the appliance. Disconnect it by pulling it off (fig. 3).
Cleaning
1 The appliance can be cleaned with a dry cloth. 2 The attachments can be cleaned with a moist
cloth or rinsed under a running tap. Remove the attachments from the appliance before cleaning them. Make sure the attachments are dry before using or storing them. Never rinse the appliance with water.
Replacement
� If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. � Always return the appliance to an authorised Philips service centre for examination or repair. Repair by unqualified people could cause an extremely hazardous situation for the user.
