Warning light (C) Frozen food storage
Insert the plug into the wall socket, pilot light (A) will come on; this indicates that the appliance is switched on. For correct storage of frozen and deep-frozen foods, freezer temperature should be at least 18°C or colder. To do this, we recommend that you turn knob (E) to an intermediate position. The freezers temperature is thus automatically set for good food storage. If the appliance is being used in abnormal conditions e.g. poor ventilation, high or low room temperature and/or frequent opening of appliances door the setting must be adjusted accordingly. In these cases knob (E) must be turned to the higher settings to obtain a lower temperature, or to the lower settings to obtain a higher temperature. Freezer operation can be halted by turning knob (E) to position «O». The refrigerator will continue to work. This light warns when the temperature inside the freezer compartment has increased so much as to jeopardize the preservation of food in the compartment. When the appliance is switched on for the rst time or when food is placed in the compartment for freezing, this light remains on until the temperature has reached the level required for correct storage.
