Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance operation, disconnect the hood from the electricity.
Grease filter - Fig. 6
This serves to hold the grease particles in suspension. The metal filter should be washed every month with warm soapy water or, if possible, in the dishwasher (65°C). Remove the filter: q Push the spring handle towards the back, then extract the filter downwards. Leave to dry before refitting it.

Carbon filter - Fig. 7
This filter dissolves cooking odours. It should be changed every 6-8 months in normal use. Ask the technical assistance service or manufacturing company for a new one. The carbon filter must never be washed. Mounting and dismounting of the carbon filter: a. Disconnect the hood from the electricity. b. Remove the grease filter. c. To install the filters, place one filter on each side so that they cover the grates protecting the rotor on the motor. Then turn the center handle for the filters in the clockwise direction. d. To dismount the carbon filters (covering the grates protecting the rotor on the motor) for replacement, turn the central handle in the counter-clockwise direction until the filters are unlocked. e. Remove the grease filter.

Attention
Failure to observe the rules for cleaning the appliance and changing and cleaning the filters may cause fires. Therefore, we recommend observing these instructions.

Cleaning
To clean the outside of the hood use a cloth moistened with denatured alcohol or neutral liquid detergents. Never use products containing abrasives.

q Disconnect the hood from the electricity. q Remove the lamp cover. q Replace the damaged part with one of equal rating.
