Hot Water is Essential Loading Your Dishwasher
For proper performance of your dishwasher, hot water is necessary to activate the dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. Set your water heater to deliver 140°F water to the dishwasher. If, for any reason, the temperature of the water being delivered by the water heater should be below 140°F, seleet the Temp Boost Sensor option to have your dishwasher heat tile water until proper temperature is reached. To cheek water temperature, turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher. Let water run into a glass until it is as hot as possible, then check with a candy or meat thermometer.
