The purpose of the �SAFETY PRECAUTIONS�, �IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS�, �Precautions� and other notes is to provide you with warnings and safety instructions that will assist in preventing the misuse of your DVD video recorder.

This leaflet is to help you start up your recorder and experience a basic operation. To learn about the recorder and obtain its full performance, refer to the OWNER�S MANUAL. ( I xx is reference page in the INSTALLATION GUIDE, and O xx in the OPERATIONS.)

Insert the batteries into the remote control.

Open the cover.

Insert batteries (R6 type).
Make sure to match the + and � on the batteries to the marks inside the battery compartment.

Close the cover.

Open to go inside.
