ENERGY SAVING TIPS
� Use the thermostat to select the ideal storage temperature as indicated in the enclosed product sheet. � Do not install the appliance in places exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources since this will increase power consumption. � With built-in appliances, do not obstruct the ventilation grilles (see �Care and Maintenance� chapter). � With free-standing appliances, remove accumulated dust from the condenser at the rear of the appliance at least once a year (see �Care and Maintenance� chapter). � Do not place hot food in the refrigerator. � Limit the frequency of door opening of both refrigerator and freezer compartments. � Defrost the appliance at least twice a year.
PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
� Use the refrigerator compartment only for storing fresh food and beverages and use the freezer compartment only for storing frozen food, freezing fresh food and making ice cubes. � Do not cover or obstruct the air vents of the appliance. � Do not store liquids in glass containers in the freezer compartment - danger of bursting. � Do not eat ice cubes or ice lollies immediately after taking them out of the freezer compartment - risk of �cold� burns. � Do not allow children to play or hide inside the appliance - risk of becoming trapped and suffocating. � Before servicing or cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the mains or disconnect the electrical power supply. � The power cable may only be replaced by an authorised person.

� This appliance is intended to come into contact with foodstuffs and conforms to D.L. 108 of 25.01.1992 (European Directive 89/109/EEC). Information Appliances with Isobutane (R600a) Isobutane is a natural gas with low environmental impact. Caution is required, however, since isobutane is flammable. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that refrigerant pipelines are not damaged.
