TEST MODE
The CA-DW935M has two types of test mode: conventional CD test mode and new mechanism test mode. 1) Starting CD test mode � Hold down the CD function key, and then plug the power cord into AC outlet: The CD test mode will start and "CD TES7" will appear. � Each time the CD function key is pressed thereafter, the CD test mode and mechanism test mode will alternate. "CD TES7" appears in CD test mode. "MC TES7" appears in mechanism test mode. 2) Functions in CD test mode Mode Start Search Operation Display to start test mode CD TES7 CD ---Action � Continuous focus search. PU lens repeats full swing. (Note 1) Play Track no. and play time Normal play. Same operation as in search mode when TOC read is impossible. Note 1: If focus search continues for 10 minutes or more, the driver IC could generate heat and the protection circuit could operate, resulting in no operation of CD player. In this case, turn power off, radiate heat for approx. 10 minutes, and then restart the CD player.

3) Mechanism test mode � The following items can be checked in the mechanism test mode: 1. Checking mechanism operation The elevator up/down and frame/tray open/close operations can be checked. Note: When the elevator is at the top position, the frame will open or close, and when it is at positions other than top, the tray will open or close.
