Operation steps The on-line help numbers each action that you perform. When only one action is necessary to perform the desired operation, the on-line help displays a small blue square instead of a number. Words in brackets, such as [VCC Version], in the on-line help topics, are commands or buttons to be clicked. Items having a reference topic An on-line help topic often contains other items that you can click to jump to a reference topic, such as a related on-line help item or an explanation of a word. These items are indicated in one of the following ways: Green letters Parts of an illustration on which the mouse cursor turns into a hand ( ). When the reference topic is a short one, such as the explanation of a word, clicking the item displays a new small window containing that reference topic. This window disappears when you press the left button of the mouse or press ESC. When the reference topic is another topic in the on-line help, clicking the item switches the displayed topic to the reference topic. You can return to the previously displayed on-line help by clicking the [Back] button in the Help window.
