2-1-2. Diagnostic Test Using the �adiag� Command
The �adiag� command performs the diagnostic operation of the record/playback blocks and the CPU peripheral hardware of the BKSI-2010/2011. Procedure 1. Start up the personal computer. (Refer to section 2-1-1.) 2. Turn on the main power of the SIU-80. Each outer segment of the 7-segment LED (D3304) on the SCS-4 board blinks in a clockwise direction sequentially. The �SDC>� prompt appears on the personal computer display to enter a command. n If the �SDC>� prompt does not appear, press the ENTER key. 3. Enter �adiag� and press the ENTER key. The diagnostic test is started. The test items in progress appear on the display. n If the BKSI-2011 (MY-72 board) is installed, the �Extend PB Memory detected.� message appears on the personal computer display. If the message �Extend PB Memory detected.� does not appear even through the MY-72 board is installed, check that it is correctly installed.

4. If an error is detected, the error code and the error message (surrounded by the dotted lines in the figure below) appear. Refer to section 2-3 and replace the defective parts.
