2-4. Input Level Range Confirmation and Level Setting
Measurement Equipment Audio signal generator Audio distortion meter, BKPF-202 Preparation 1. Connect each equipment. (Refer to Fig.1 in Section 2-1-2.) 2. Turn on the power of the main unit (PFV-D20/D50/D100A/D200A/D300) and warm up for ten minutes. Procedures 1. Provide an analog audio signal of 1 kHz, +4 dBm from an audio signal generator to the ANALOG IN AUDIO 1 connector of BKPF-205. Provide the "L" output signal from BKPF-202 to an audio distortion meter, and read the level.

2. Turn 1RV102 (A-4) counterclockwise until the clutch is activated and clicks. Confirm that the level is less than 0 dBm. 3. Turn 1RV102 clockwise until the clutch is activated and clicks. Confirm that the level is more than +18 dBm. 4. Turn RV102 so that the audio output level is +4 ± 0.1 dBm. 5. The ANALOG IN AUDIO 2 through 4 connectors are also the same in procedures as described above. Confirm and adjust the volumes below according to steps 1 through 4. .
