Using The Sliding Cover
The sliding cover protects the keypad on your phone and can also be used to answer or end a call. Answering and ending a call When somebody is calling you, opening the sliding cover partially or fully answers a call after one second. During this time you can reject the call by pressing or by closing the cover.
Re-attaching the sliding cover If the sliding cover accidentally comes off, slide it gently back from the bottom of the phone. See the picture below.
When the sliding cover is off, you will see two types of connectors under the sliding cover:
Closing the sliding cover ends or rejects a call. However, if you during a call press the left (Menu) and then close the sliding cover within a few seconds, the call is not terminated. Closing the sliding cover always exits the menu facility and memory functions.

These connectors, as well as the connectors at the back of the sliding cover are rust protected and do not cause electric shocks.
