Routing Inputs to the Multi Outs
Use the following procedure to route a microphone signal from INPUT 1 to MULTI-OUT 20: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press and hold down Channel 1�s CH EDIT button, then press STATUS MAIN/CUE. 3. Press CURSOR UP to select the upper field. 4. Turn V3 [MULTI OUT SEL] to select MULTI-OUT 20. 5. Press F3 [SET]. �20� becomes highlighted.
Adjusting Channel Level
Use the following procedure to set the volume of Channel 5: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press MAIN CH LEVEL in the PARAM VIEW on Fader area. CH LEVEL lights red. 3. Move Channel 5�s fader to adjust its output level.
Adjusting Channel Panning
Use the following procedure to set the L/R PAN of Channel 5: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press MAIN CH PAN in the PARAM VIEW on Fader area. CH PAN lights red. 3. Move Channel 5�s fader up to move the signal to the right, or down to move it to the left.
Routing a Signal to One of the ASSIGNABLE OUTs
Signals sent to Multi Out Channels 17-24 are also sent to ASSIGNABLE OUT Jacks 1-8, respectively. Use the following procedure to route Channel 5 to ASSIGNABLE OUT Jack 7: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press and hold down Channel 5�s CH EDIT button, then press STATUS MAIN/CUE. 3. Press CURSOR UP to select the upper field. 4. Turn V3 [MULTI OUT SEL] to select MULTI-OUT 23, which also feeds ASSIGNABLE OUT Jack 7. 5. Press F3 [SET]. �23� becomes highlighted.
Adjusting EQ for a Channel
Use the following procedure to set Channel 5�s EQ: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press and hold down Channel 5�s CH EDIT button, then press STATUS LO-MID. 3. Press F1 [EQ ON] to activate the equalizer. 4. Press CURSOR UP or DOWN to select the desired band. 5. Turn the corresponding V knobs as desired.
Sending a Signal to an Internal Flex Bus
In the V-Mixing system, each mixing processor provides 12 unique multi-purpose �Flex Busses.� A Flex Bus is a pathway down which multiple signals can be sent to a common destination. Note: Flex Busses 9 through 12 are external Flex Busses and cannot be used internally. Use the following procedure to send Channel 5 to internal Flex Bus 1: 1. Press SECTION FLEX BUS MASTER 1-12. 2. Press and hold down Channel 1�s CH EDIT button, then press STATUS MAIN/CUE. 3. Press CURSOR UP] or [DOWN] to select the middle field. 4. Turn V2 [BUS MODE] to select INT, and press F2 [SET] to confirm your choice. 5. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 6. Press FLEX BUS 1 in the PARAM VIEW on Fader area to display the FBUS SEND 1 screen. 7. Use the Channel 5�s fader to adjust its send level to Flex Bus 1.
Muting Channels
Use the following procedure to mute Channel 5: 1. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. 2. Press MUTE in the CH STATUS MODE area. MUTE lights red. 3. Press Channel 5�s STATUS so that it lights red. 4. Press STATUS again to unmute Channel 5.
Soloing Channels
Use the following procedure to solo Channel 5: 1. 2. 3. 4. Press SECTION INPUT CH1-24. Press SOLO in the CH STATUS MODE area. SOLO lights red. Press the Channel 5�s STATUS button so that it lights orange. Press STATUS again to unsolo Channel 5.
