4Insert one end of the line cord into the socket on the back of the
machine marked TEL. LINE. Insert the other end into a wall telephone socket.

2Flip up the front paper guide.
Note: Do not peel off or bend this strip of film.

Note: The fax machine is set for pluse dialing. If you are on a tone dial line, you must set the fax machine for tone dialing. Press the keys on the opeation panel as follows:(Greece: This setting is not available.)

1. Press these keys: The display will show: DIAL MODE

3Remove the packing paper.

2. Press 1 to select tone dialing, or 2 to select pulse dialing.

3. Press the STOP key to return to the date and time display.

1Grasp the finger hold and open the operation panel.
