Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not ring. Vib+Melody: the phone both rings and vibrates. Light: only the backlight is switched on; the phone neither rings nor vibrates.
Keytone Type

This option allows you to select the tone that the keypad generates when you press a key. The following options are available. Off: the keys do not make any sound. Tone: each key, when pressed, makes a different sound. Beep: each key, when pressed, makes the same sound.
Keytone Volume

This option allows you to adjust the key volume to one of eight levels. Use the and keys on the left side of the phone.
Message Alert

This option allows you to select how the phone informs you that a new message has been received. The following options are available. Single: the phone beeps once. Periodic: the phone beeps at regular intervals. Light: the light on the top of the phone flashes.
