Enhancing the bass sound
�The VHS�s timer program recording functions even when the unit is turned off by the sleep timer.
You can enhance low-frequency sound so that heavy bass sound can be heard clearly, even if the acoustics of your room are not optimal. The unit autmatically selects the most suitable setting according to the type of playing source.

MIX 2CH ZOOM
��MUTING� flashes on the unit�s display. To cancel �Press [MUTING] again or reduce the volume to minimum (� � dB), then raise it to the required level. �Muting is canceled when you switch the unit to standby or turn up the volume from minimum (� � dB).
Down-mixing
You can output the down-mixed 2 channel signal when necessary (e.g. when you intend to record 5.1ch sound on other recording equipment).
Press [SHIFT]i[MIX 2CH].
To cancel Press [SHIFT]i[MIX 2CH] again.
Using headphones
