Memory Backup Battery Before replacing the memory backup battery, check to make sure that the main power supply batteries are supplying power. If the message Low battery! appears on the display when you turn power on, replace the main power supply batteries first. Never remove the memory backup battery from the unit while the main power supply batteries are removed. Be sure to turn power off before replacing batteries. Though normal battery life is approximately two years, we recommend more frequent replacement in order to ensure that memory contents are fully protected.
To replace the memory backup battery 1. Press SHIFT OFF to turn power off, and then slide the unit into its hard case. 2. Slide the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit in the direction shown in the illustration and remove it. 3. Remove screw A and then remove the battery holder. 4. Remove the old battery. 5. Wipe off the surfaces of a new battery with a soft, dry cloth, and load it into the unit making sure that its positive + side is facing up (so you can see it). 6. Pressing down on the battery holder, replace the screw that secures it in place. 7. Slide the battery compartment cover back into position until it clicks firmly in place. 8. Remove the unit from its hard case and press AC/ to turn power

OHP Projection Unit
This section includes important information about using the AC Adaptor and memory backup battery replacement for the OHP projection unit. Using the AC Adaptor Use only the AC adaptor (AD-A60024) that comes with this kit. Use of another AC adaptor can cause serious damage to the OHP projection unit and creates the danger of personal injury. Use of the wrong AC adaptor voids your warranty. Be sure to turn power off before connecting or disconnecting the AC adaptor. The AC adaptor may become warm to the touch when used for long periods. This is normal and does not indicate malfunction.
