Important � N�opérez jamais sur sols mouillés, cendres, liquides inflammables ou explosifs. � Avant de brancher sur le secteur assurez-vous que la poignée est en position verticale (c�est-à-dire appareil arrêté). � Retirez toujours la fiche de la prise de courant avant de retourner la cireuse (par ex. pour changer les brosses ou les disques feutre). � Assurez-vous que le cordon d�alimentation n�aille pas sous l�appareil pendant l�utilisation. Evitez le contact des mains, pieds, cheveux, vêtements, etc... avec les disques ou les brosses rotatives en action. Préparation de l�appareil pour l�utilisation � Assemblez la poignée : (fig. 1, 2, 3). Vissez l�écrou à la main à la partie basse. (N�utilisez pas d�outils pour éviter tout dommage.) � Mettez en place le sac à poussières: (fig. 4, 5). � Fixez les brosses ou disques feutre (�Click!�) : (fig. 6). Pour enlever : (fig. 7). � Déroulez le cordon d�alimentation (fig. 8) et insérez la fiche dans la prise de courant. (Conseil : Pour plus de sécurité enroulez le cordon autour de la poignée comme indiqué sur la fig. 9.) � Mettez en marche : appuyez sur la poignée (1) et courbez-la en arrière (2) (fig. 10). Pour arrêter : remettez la poignée en position verticale (fig. 11).

� Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals auf nassem Boden, auf Asche oder auf brennbaren bzw. explosiven Flüssigkeiten. � Richten Sie den Stiel des Geräts senkrecht hoch, bevor Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose stecken. Damit ist das Gerät ausgeschaltet. � Ziehen Sie stets den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät umdrehen, um z.B. Bürsten oder Polierscheiben zu wechseln. � Achten Sie beim Gebrauch darauf, da� das Netzkabel nicht unter das Gerät gelangt. Auch Hände, Fü�e und Haare, Kleidungsstücke usw. müssen von rotierenden Bürsten und Polierscheiben ferngehalten werden. Vor dem Gebrauch � Setzen Sie den Stiel in das Gerät (Abb. 1 bis 3). Schrauben Sie die Mutter am unteren Ende des Stieles mit der Hand fest. Verwenden Sie kein Werkzeug, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. � Bringen Sie den Staubsack an (Abb. 4 und 5). � Setzen Sie die Bürsten oder die Polierscheiben ein (�Klick�) (Abb. 6). Herausnehmen: s. Abb. 7. � Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel ab (Abb. 8), und stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose. Hinweis: Zur zusätzlichen Sicherung legen Sie eine Schlaufe um den oberen Haken am Stiel (Abb. 9). � Einschalten: Drücken Sie den Stiel hinunter (Abb. 10, 1), und beugen Sie ihn nach hinten (Abb. 10, 2). Ausschalten: Stellen Sie den Stiel senkrecht (Abb. 11).

Polissage - Nettoyez le sol avec un aspirateur. Enlevez les taches, etc. (fig. 12, 13). - Recouvrez le sol sans excès de cire liquide (de bonne qualité) (fig. 14). - Utilisez les brosses dures pour frotter (fig. 15). - Quand la cireuse est sèche, frottez avec les brosses douces (fig. 16). - Vous pouvez lustrer les parquets en utilisant les disques feutre (fig. 17). � Travaillez toujours en lignes droites (fig. 18). Des mouvements circulaires peuvent donner des résultats décevants. � Pour faire rouler l�appareil sans polissage, mettez la poignée en position verticale (1) (verrouillée) et penchez l�appareil en arrière (2) (fig. 19). Rangement - Enroulez le cordon d�alimentation autour des crochets de rangement (fig. 20). - Si vous désirez vous pouvez enlever les brosses et disques feutre (fig. 21) avant de ranger l�appareil. Nettoyage - Enlevez la fiche de la prise de courant avant de nettoyer l�appareil. Vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon humide, si désiré avec un peu de détergent. - Les brosses peuvent être nettoyées avec de l�eau et un détergent. - Les disques feutre peuvent être nettoyés en les brossant avec de l�eau savonneuse. Essuyez-les ensuite avec un chiffon. - Laissez les brosses et les disques sécher horizontalement. Sac à poussières En frottant, votre cireuse récupère la poussière et la cire sur le sol, dans un sac à poussières. De temps en temps enlevez ce sac (fig. 22, 23) et videz-le (fig. 24). N�oubliez pas de le remettre avant d�utiliser de nouveau la cireuse. Remplacement du cordon d�alimentation Si le cordon d�alimentation de l�appareil est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un cordon équivalent. Adressez-vous à votre revendeur Philips ou au réparateur agréé Philips Appareils Domestiques de votre région. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Philips-Händler oder an die Philips-Organisation in Ihrem Lande. Bohnern - Reinigen Sie den Boden mit einem Staubsauger. Entfernen Sie hartnäckigen Schmutz (Abb. 12 und 13). - Sprühen Sie den Boden sparsam mit einer hochwertigen Bohnerflüssigkeit ein (Abb. 14). - Verwenden Sie die harten Bürsten, um die Flüssigkeit einzureiben (Abb. 15). - Wenn die Flüssigkeit trocken ist, bürsten Sie mit den weichen Bürsten nach (Abb. 16). - Mit den Poliersheiben aus Filz (Abb. 17) können Sie hartem Holzboden, z.B. Parkett, einen brillanten Glanz verleihen (Abb. 17). � Bewegen Sie das Gerät in geraden Linien, die sich ein wenig überdecken (Abb. 18). Die Spur von kreisenden Bewegungen kann enttäuschend aussehen. � Wenn Sie das Gerät fahren wollen ohne zu bürsten oder zu polieren, dann kippen Sie es nur am Stiel in eine waagerechte Position (Abb. 19, 1) und ziehen es hinter sich her (Abb. 19, 2). Aufbewahrung - Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Haken am Stiel (Abb. 20). - Bevor Sie das Gerät fortstellen, können Sie die Bürsten und Polierscheiben abnehmen (Abb. 21). Reinigung - Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Sie können das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, auf das Sie bei Bedarf etwas Spülmittel aufgetragen haben. - Die Bürsten können mit Wasser und Waschpulver gereinigt werden. - Die Polierscheiben aus Filz können mit Wasser abgebürstet werden, dem Sie etwas Spülmittel beigefügt haben. Säubern Sie anschlie�end noch mit einem feuchten Tuch. - Lassen Sie Bürsten und Polierscheiben liegend trocknen. To remove: fig. 7. � Unwind the mains cord (fig. 8) and insert the mains plug into the wall socket. (Advice: For extra safety loop the cord around the handle as shown in fig. 9.) � Switching on: press the handstick (1) and bend it backwards (2) (fig. 10). To switch off: put the handstick back into a vertical position (fig. 11). Polishing - Clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner. Remove stains, etc. (fig. 12, 13). - Sprinkle the required quantity of (high quality) fluid floor polish onto the floor (fig. 14). Do not take too much polish. - Use the hard brushes to rub in (fig. 15). - When the polish is dry, rub out with the soft brushes (fig. 16). - You can give wooden floors (parquetry) a high gloss using the felt polishing discs (fig. 17). While rubbing, your floor polisher also brushes dust and particles of polish from the floor, gathering them in the dustbag. From time to time remove the dustbag (fig. 22, 23). Empty the bag (fig. 24). Do not forget to position the dustbag back before you use the polisher again. Replacing the mains cord If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the original type only. Please apply to your Philips dealer or to the Philips organisation in your country for replacement. DO NOT CONNECT either of these wires to the earth terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter "E" or by the earth symbol E or coloured GREEN, or GREEN AND YELLOW. Note: If the terminals of the plug are unmarked or if you are in any doubt consult a qualified electrician. If a 13 amp. (BS. 1363) plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp. fuse. If any other plug is used, the appliance should be protected by a 5 amp. fuse either in the plug or adaptor.

� To enable recycling the plastics of the product have been coded. � The cardboard packaging has been made of recycled material and is entirely suitable for recycling. Important � Never operate on wet floors, ashes, inflammable or explosive liquids. � Before connecting to mains power ensure thet the handstick is in upright position (i.e. appliance is switched off). � Always remove the mains plug from the wall socket before turning the polisher (e.g. for changing brushes or polishing discs). � Ensure that the mains cord does not get under the appliance while operating. Avoid hands, feet, hairs, articles of dress, etc. to come into contact with the rotating brushes or discs.

� Always make straight lanes (fig. 18). Circular movements may give disappointing results. � To wheel the appliance without polishing, put the handstick in a vertical position (1) and then tilt the appliance backwards (2) (fig. 19).

Storage - Wind the mains cord around the storage hooks (fig. 20). - If you wish you may remove the brushes and polishing discs (fig. 21) before storing the appliance. Cleaning - Remove the mains plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance. You may use a damp cloth, if required with some detergent. - The brushes may be cleaned with water and a detergent. - The felt polishing pads may be cleaned by brushing them with soapy water. Then wipe the discs off with a damp cloth. - Let the brushes and discs dry in a horizontal position. For U.K. only: Wiring Instructions U.K. This appliance is supplied with a non-rewirable 13 Amp. plug. The plug must never be used without the fuse cover being in place. If a replacement fuse cover is required, it must be of the same type or colour as the coloured insert around the fuse cover. Replacement fuse covers are available from Electrical Retailers or direct from Philips, tel. 0181 - 689 - 2166, ext. 8014. Replacement 13 Amp. fuses must be BSI or ASTA BS 1362 approved. Important safety information If the non-rewirable plug is not suitable for the socket outlets in your home, it can be removed and replaced by a plug of the correct type. The non-rewirable plug must be cut from the mains cord, the fuse removed, and the plug safely discarded to prevent further use. The removed plug can be hazardous if inserted into a live mains socket. IMPORTANT Connect to mains supply. This cleaner is a double insulated appliance designed to British Safety Requirement BS3456 Part 3, section 3.3. and does not require to be earthed, consequently it is fitted with a two core flexible lead. Ensure that the flexible lead is connected correctly to the power supply as set out below: Important: The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code: Blue - neutral Brown - live. As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter "N" or coloured Black. The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter "L" or coloured Red.
