Resetting the microprocessor
The microprocessor must be reset under the following conditions: � Prior to using this unit for the first time after installation � If the unit fails to operate properly � When strange or incorrect messages appear on the display Press RESET on the unit with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.

For illustration, instructions in this manual use the �DEH-P6400� as an example of head unit. � When using a remote control, you can operate these head units marked with * in the same way as the �DEH-P6400�.
