Sleeptimer With the sleeptimer you can set a time period after which the TV should switch itself to standby. The counter can be set from Off up to 180 min. One minute before the TV is set to go to standby, the remaining seconds and the message Good Night appear on screen. You can always switch off your set earlier or change the set time. Note: when a VGA source is selected, the TV will not go to standby when the sleeptimer expires. Lock Access Your TV is equipped with a V-chip (Content advisory system).This allows you to control access to individual programs based on their movie and TV ratings. All settings apply to all TV channels and A/V sources. The program content advisory data are sent by the broadcaster or program provider.

Select Lock Access with the cursor up/down. The LOCK ACCESS menu appears but the items cannot be selected. The menu items give an overview of the settings and ratings selected in the Lock menu. See further. You are asked to enter your access code. If the access code is correct, the LOCK menu appears. If you have not entered a code yet, or has forgotten it, see p. 16.

Child Lock If the Child Lock is On, the TV can only be switched on with the remote control.The PROGRAM - and + keys and VOLUME - or + keys behind the front door of the receiver cannot be used. In this way you can prevent unauthorized use of your TV. If the message Lock ON! appears, the child lock must be switched off before you can use the PROGRAM - and + keys and the VOLUME - or + keys on the receiver.
