� Before using for the first time, remove the black sheet (used to
prevent battery consumption) on the side of the unit. CAUTION : After removing the black sheet from the side of the calculator (prevents battery wear during shipping), or after replacing the battery, be sure to press the following keys :
Timer : Press C . Calculator : Press .

� The attached magnet holder uses a strong magnet that can alter or erase data on a magnetic card if brought into close proximity. � The data stored on a video cassette or floppy disk can be altered by the magnet if held together with it.
