Using dry batteries
Use only the following dry battery type for your CD player: � LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries
Note
Be sure to remove the AC power adaptor when using the dry batteries.
Using the battery case
(for the customers supplied with the battery case)
You can extend power by inserting the rechargeable batteries or dry batteries in the CD player and attaching the battery case. The batteries in the CD player and battery case are discharged simultaneously.

Open the battery compartment lid.

Remove the cap of the battery case, and insert two LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries by matching the 3 to the diagram outside the battery case and close the cap of the battery case.
Insert two LR6 (size AA) batteries by matching the 3 to the diagram in the battery compartment.
To remove the batteries Remove the batteries in the same way as rechargeable batteries. When to replace the batteries You can check the remaining power of the batteries in the display. Battery power is full.

� Be sure to remove the AC power adaptor when attaching the battery case. � When using the rechargeable batteries and dry batteries together to extend power, use fully charged rechargeable batteries and new dry batteries.
When the batteries are depleted, replace both batteries with new ones.
