1-4-5. Replacement of Lithium Battery
A lithium battery for data back-up is installed on the mother board. When replacing a lithium battery, be sure to use to the listed part on the parts list of Section 2. Spare Parts. n Before performing, turn the power off in the unit.

1-4-6. Note of Token-ring board replacement
When the Token-ring board was replaced, perform setting the jumper wires (W1, W2) on the new Token-ring board with the factory setting. (Refer to 1-1-5. Jumper Settings and LED Functions.)

1-4-7. Note of SCSI board replacement
(1) Remove the top cover. (Refer to Section 1-3. Removal of Cabinets) (2) Remove the AES board, AD/DA converter board and SYNC board. (Refer to Section 1-4-1. Replacement of Power Supply) (3) Remove the card cage bracket. (Refer to Section 1-4-1. Replacement of Power Supply) (4) Remove the lithium battery on the mother board. (5) Install a new lithium battery on the mother board. When the SCSI board was replaced, perform setting the �SCSI BIOS� after the new SCSI board has been installed on the Mother board.
