1. PRODUCT OUTLINE
This model is a connection cable for the SHARP Graphing Calculator EL-9650/EL-9600c/EL9600/EL-9400*1 (Graphing Calculator) and DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM. To connect to the DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM, Communication cable and PC LINK ADAPTOR (CELK1) are also required. ( 1): The EL-965T/96TC/94T OHP PANEL CONTROLLER connected to the OVERHEAD PROJECTION SYSTEM for Graphing Calculator can be connected with the DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM.

1. Regarding the power supply This product uses batteries for operation. When using for the first time, insert the four attached batteries into the DATA COLLECTION CABLE. (See the battery installation diagram.) Caution:

� Keep batteries out of the reach of children. � Remove batteries from the unit when they become weak or
when the unit will not be used for a long period of time. Leaving weak batteries in the unit may cause battery leakage and damage from corrosion. Do not dispose of batteries by fire as they may explode.

2. Regarding the included items Check to see if the attached items indicated below are enclosed with this product.

3. Regarding the low voltage detection LED will flash when batteries are low. Replace with fresh batteries as soon as possible when this occurs. 4. Connection method (See the connection diagram.) 1) Turn off the power supply of the Graphing Calculator, DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM and DATA COLLECTION CABLE. 2) Connect the DATA COLLECTION CABLE and DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM, as well as the Graphing Calculator and PC LINK ADAPTOR using the Communication cable.

3. CONNECTIONS

3) Connect the 25 PIN CONNECTOR of the DATA COLLECTION CABLE to the CONNECTION port of the PC LINK ADAPTOR. 4) Turn on the power supply of the Graphing Calculator, DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM and DATA COLLECTION CABLE.
