Operating precaution Operation near any appliance which generates strong magnetic fields may give rise to noise in the video and audio signals. If this should be the case, deal with the situation by, for instance, moving the source of the magnetic fields away from the unit before operation.

The fact that the equipment operates satisfactorily does not imply that the power point is earthed or that the installation is completely safe.
