[7] ADJUSTMENTS
Note: The head gap adjustment jig for the AJ-6110 differs from those for the conventional models (such as the AJ-2000, etc.). The jig for the AJ-6110 is marked with "N." 3. With the measuring pin lifted up, slide the adjustment tool to the measuring position.

1. GAP ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN THE PRINT HEAD AND PAPER
A. The adjustment is required in the following cases:
� When the main chassis or the carriage shaft is removed. � When the adjustment lever is moved. 4. Fall the measuring pin to the target platen knob. (The fourth one from the left, and the fourth one from the right.)

C. Calibration of the adjustment tool
For example, when you drop the adjustment tool or in similar events, it is necessary for you to calibrate the tool. If you handle the tool carefully, it will not be necessary to calibrate the tool in normal use. Do not slide the adjustment tool with the measuring pin down. 5. Turn the adjustment lever to adjust so that the measuring pin is at the specified position in the block. Note: Use a magnifying glass to check the gap.

D. Adjustment tool calibration procedure
1. Set the adjustment tool as shown below.

2. Loosen the screw and adjust so that the top of the block meets the edge on the measuring shaft groove. (Set at the upper limit.) Note: Use a magnifying glass to check the gap.

E. Gap adjustment procedure
1. Set the paper select lever to the position of normal paper. 2. Set the adjustment tool to the carriage slide section and the shaft as shown below.

If the top of the block is in the groove width of the measuring pin, the head gap is 1.6 m 0.1mm.
