HOW TO LOAD SOFTWARE FOR MPEG P.W.BOARD
a. Push the power button to ON. b. Push the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the tray. c. Place the CD-R disc into the tray for updating. Then push the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the tray. (Do not press PLAY key.) If tray is done in close excluding OPEN/CLOSE key. It does not become update mode. d. The under mentioned display appears to the screen READING doing and about 6 seconds later. Display on "FL" UPDATE DSC Display on screen. It is not possible to discontinue on the way when Update begins. Detect firm update disc to start updating : press PLAY key. to quit : press OPEN key. f. After 40 seconds, the picture will become off. Then STANDBY LED light. Update complete. POWER key press and OPEN/ CLOSE key press and take out the CD-R. g. Execute initializing. h. Using remocon, press on SET UP , Parental , 460076 , ENTER and SET UP. i. Initializing of SET UP complete.

Cancel is good at Update by pushing OPEN/CLOSE. After disk is inserted, keys other than OPEN/CLOSE key are disregarded.

Attention
1. Main power should not be cut off until the "STANDBY LED" lights up. 2. When the main power is cut off during installing, follow the procedure as below. A. When the main power is cut off before or after appearing the letters on the screen as mentioned at procedure #c, a. Plug out the power cord and plug it in again. b. Confirm that the "STANDBY LED" lights up. c. Push "OPEN/CLOSE" key. d. Carry out the rewriting procedure from procedure #b. B. When the main power is cut off within 9 seconds before completing the procedure #d, a. Plug out the power cord and plug it in again. b. Confirm that the "STANDBY LED" lights up. c. Push "OPEN/CLOSE" key. d. Carry out the rewriting procedure from procedure #b. In case the "STANDBY LED" does not light up even if the power cord is plugged out and in several times, the "FLUSH MEMORY" might get damaged. Please change the "FLUSH MEMORY" or the "MPEG PWB" and carry out the rewriting procedure from restart. - 38 3. When "READING" or "0:00" appears on the FL, a. Plug out the power cord and plug it in again. b. Confirm that the "STANDBY LED" lights up. c. Push "OPEN/CLOSE" key. e. Carry out the rewriting procedure from inspection #b.
